  • Payment information: Bank account details for payouts (processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store card numbers).
  • Waitlist submissions: Your email address when you join our waitlist.
  • Support communications: Messages you send us via email or support channels.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve our marketplace services.
  • To process transactions and send related communications (receipts, payout confirmations).
  • To send you updates about Ganapio, including launch notifications if you joined the waitlist.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Payment processing: With Razorpay to process payments and payouts.
  • Analytics: With Google Analytics (anonymized usage data).
  • Infrastructure: With Supabase (database hosting) and Vercel (website hosting).
  • Legal requirements: When required by Indian law, court order, or government request.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase and Vercel. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We never store your card details on our servers.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them. We do not use cookies for advertising or retargeting.

7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and applicable laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Waitlist email addresses are retained until launch or until you unsubscribe. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for up to 180 days for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

9. Children's Privacy

Ganapio is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Ganapio after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
